Sales & Business Development Rep

Zaptic is on a mission to change the future of industrial work for the better, by providing a digital assistant which improves the productivity, safety and job satisfaction of frontline workers. 

To achieve this vision, we are developing and deploying user-centric software that lets operational teams digitise workflows with no code, capture and share their knowledge, learn on the job with guided execution, and collaborate in real time to problem solve and drive continuous improvement. 

The role

We are seeking an SDR to screen and establish initial connection with potential accounts and customers who would benefit from our products and services. You will have an impactful role as the first line of communication with prospects, boosting customer acquisition levels, and revenue growth as well as providing valuable insights to sales, marketing and product.

Responsibilities

  • Profile strategic accounts, identifying opportunities, key sites and prospects.
  • Create and maintain target prospects lists of key individuals through various sources.
    • Use of LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and HubSpot. 
  • Consistent and persistent outreach to target prospects.
    • Generate and maintain automated email sequences – continuously test and refine.
    • Creative use of other channels such as social to initiate conversations.
  • Set appointments for the sales team when a lead reaches a qualified stage.
  • Maintain accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM.
  • Ongoing research into the manufacturing industry and the solutions landscape.
  • Qualify and progress inbound leads.

About you

We are seeking someone who:

  • Has 1+ year of experience in a similar role at a B2B saas  / enterprise software company. 
  • Experience / understanding of manufacturing industry a plus.
  • Is a collaborative, organised and proactive team member, eager to join a fast moving, start-up environment.
  • Excels at conducting and organising research, showcasing drive and creativity in going beyond the common tools to identify accounts and prospects.
  • Is a compelling verbal and written communicator, capable of quickly starting and progressing new conversations.
  • Has a strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
