Head of Sales - UK and EMEA

Our connected worker application is already a key part of the Industry 4.0 and operational excellence journey for some of the world’s largest manufacturers, and is helping to shape the role of people in the future of industrial work.

 

Role and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • exceed a personal bookings target (to be agreed) by the end of the current financial year

  • work with the wider team to share knowledge, experience and contacts and to contribute with ideas to improve the effectiveness of the business overall

  • build and maintain a qualified pipeline of opportunities to ensure the delivery of at least 100% growth year on year

  • understand the competition for the Zaptic solutions and be able to position the benefits of the solutions to potential clients
      
  • build winning sales strategies, collateral and business cases

  • be part of the senior management team and be responsible for working with the key executives to drive the overall business strategy of the company and will be specifically responsible for the sales strategy working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and marketing team

  • work with the marketing team to drive lead generation activities and to prepare content for marketing materials, case studies, customer presentations etc.

  • drive the selection of target segments and sectors with input from the CEO and CCO and will be responsible for the delivery of professional marketing and sales campaigns

  • drive the sales process and the development of a sales playbook to ensure the rapid productivity of future hires and will continue to drive improvements in key processes to ensure continued efficiency

  • recruit a high performing team of sales executives as appropriate

  • have an active presence on social media to promote Zaptic to key targets

  • be able to identify the key partners and influencers and work closely with them to drive adoption of Zaptic solutions

 

Previous Experience

  • have worked in a similar sized business with an entrepreneurial culture
  •  understand the manufacturing environment, business pressures, challenges and technology trends.
  • have been responsible for the successful sales of SaaS solutions 
  • have a track record of demonstrable and consistent delivery of targets
  • be comfortable dealing with C level executives, understand their drivers, motivations and concerns and be able to build compelling propositions to influence decision making
  • ideally have a contact list of customers S/he has sold to before to enable faster productivity and adoption

  • understand the implications of continuous improvement and change management for large multi-national organisations
